NCCER wanted their headquarters to reflect their mission.
As an organization that advocates construction best practices, the need to lead by example drove leadership's planning for the new headquarters. NCCER sought a project partner whose everyday business practices reflected the goals of NCCER itself. Based upon proven results, expertise, safety record and commitment to quality, Haskell emerged as the right firm for the job.
LEED Silver facility produces operational savings.
As part of showcasing construction best practices through their new headquarters, NCCER felt a responsibility to make their facility an example of sustainable construction. From use of day-lighting to an energy efficient cooling tower, lighting motion sensors and a high-efficiency plumbing design that reduces water usage, Haskell's innovative approach delivered a modern design with truly sustainable systems.
NCCER exemplifies an inspired concept translated into a practical result.
The two-story 33,455-square-foot NCCER headquarters features a contemporary design with a glass facade that houses several office suites and five conference rooms with high-tech multimedia capabilities for training. The open floor plan and exposed ceilings lend the space an industrial feel and a unique educational “craft tour” highlights the crafts on the project. Haskell takes pride in not only delivering a well-built physical structure, but also in the fact that we contributed to support NCCER's overall goals.
